Christmas in Dubai

Merry Christmas

Christmas is Near, Dubai hosts a number of fun and festive events

In other words, it’s legit. Soon it will be Christmas. Presents have been stashed in closets, Christmas trees have been set up in the break room, and an air of euphoric holiday glee permeates the workplace.

It’s the most wonderful time of the year, and here are some of the best things to do in Dubai.

We’ve had some of the most joyous Christmases in Dubai by participating in a snowy fun run and exploring the city’s many Christmas markets.

OUR TOP RECOMMENDATIONS FOR GETTING INTO THE CHRISTMAS SPIRIT IN DUBAI.

SPEND SOME TIME AT THE HOLIDAY MARKET IN MADINAT JUMEIRAH

The Madinat Jumeirah Christmas Market will reopen on December 15 and run through December 30 in Dubai. There will be delicious holiday fare and drinks, as well as several exciting activities for the kids to enjoy. It’s the best way to get in the mood for some merrymaking around the holiday tree.

WINTERFEST’S OUTDOOR CINEMATIC EXTRAVAGANZA

This week, one of our favorite fanzines is transitioning into a film zone so that we can make the most of the beautiful winter weather. You and your family may watch Elf or Die Hard on the big screen at The Michiganite as part of their annual Winter fest. Visitors can relax on the bean bags and snack on free popcorn while watching the film. The first showing begins at 8:00 p.m., and there will be a second showing at 10:00 p.m., and both times, tickets are Dhs50 and are redeemable. The doors open at 5 o’clock if you want to take it all in before the show starts.

IT’S THE HOLIDAY SEASON IN SKI DUBAI

A white Christmas in the middle of the desert? That’s just typical of Dubai. From December 1-25, you can have a taste of winter at Ski Dubai. Santa’s grotto hours are from noon to 2:30, from 3:30 to 6, and from 7 pm to 9 pm daily. On the icy slopes, you may warm yourself with complimentary hot chocolate. Santa’s elves will be hosting an art and craft session from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. for two children per family who spend Dhs300.

DECEMBER’S FERRARI WORLD CELEBRATION

Stay in awe as you tour one of the world’s most prestigious theme parks, Ferrari World, in Dubai. Located on Yas Island, Ferrari World Abu Dhabi is one of the city’s most popular attractions. It’s the first theme park to bear the Ferrari name, and it holds the record for the largest space theme building ever built. The Formula Rossa, the world’s fastest crazy ride, can be found in the recreation complex as well.

THE FAIRMONT THE PALM

The Fairmont The Palm serves a scrumptious Christmas breakfast. There will be roasts of all kinds, including turkey, and all of your favorite Christmas pastries to enjoy with the meal.
